Jessica
Mackenzie was recently voted our new president! She takes
over the helm, replacing Cary Gustin. Jessica is optimistic
about the future of the Chamber of Commerce: "My
primary focus is expanding membership, increasing the
board of directors, providing a community presence and
amenities with our new office at 207 S. Foch, in downtown
Truth or Consequences." |

Investment in the Chamber of
Commerce returns a big dividend directly to you...membership
services, community programs, exposure to new markets and
fellow business people. |
| Publicity |
As a part of the big picture,
members share in the publicity of getting things done for
our community. They also share in the ability to
utilize the Chamber's bulk mailing capabilities, by using
the Chambers' bulk mailing number, (the member pays
postage). The Chamber has a web master, and you can
contact her directly with your advertising information or
changes. You will have free use of the Chambers' black
and white copying machine (the member provides the paper).
The Chamber will provide telephone referrals, insert your
advertising in the monthly newsletter, display brochures and
business cards, and arrange for a ribbon cutting ceremony
with newspaper coverage. |

Quality of life in our
community is of primary importance. Whatever the scope
of involvement or type of activity, remember, "things don't
just happen." As a matter of fact, progress is made
through the efforts of many people working together through
an avenue known as your Chamber of Commerce. |

We realize the
limits of your time, especially in an era of uncertain
markets and budget controls. But, it is only through
involvement that the Chamber represents the voice of the
business and professional community and conveys its message
loud and clear. |
